Vans Wafflecup BMX sole utalises a thick heel and a reinforced pattern, allowing for a longer life and increase durability for bails, and longer life if used for stopping.
The middle of the sole is made with less reinforcement to allow for softness and flexibility while riding. Despite the reduced reinforcement, the classic pattern keeps the shoe strong and durable.
The front of the sole is thinner for better Pedal feel with a redesigned waffle sole, which lasts longer on pedals than the traditional Waffle sole. The sole also has a herringbone underlay adding a second life.
