Balance bikes, like the Kink Coast, help teach kids balance and coordination instead of relying on training wheels.
What’s special about the Coast is the way it combines features and geometry for children, with that of a full size BMX bike. Designed to help work a child up to their first BMX Bike.
The Coast is built from Hi-Ten steel throughtout the frame, fork and bars creating a bike that can handle all the abuse a learning rider can throw at it. Unsealed hubs front and back are paired with Mission X7 rims and Mission Tracker 12" tyres to keep things rolling smooth, while an adjustable Mission Weider combo seat keeps the rider comfortable as they grow.
Please note: The Coast 12" is designed for children aged 2 and up. Seat height adjustable from 14.25″-16.75″.

BMX bikes are measured in two ways: the size of the wheel (20” is the standard BMX wheel size), and the length of the frame which is gauged by the top tube measurement. We have also simplified for you into XS, Small, Medium, etc.Here is a guide to what size you should be looking for - note that there is some overlap in sizes, as personal preference also comes into the equation!
