Product Description

The Shiv Fork is in its third revision, for the V3 Fit set out to create and produce a fork with plenty of tyre clearance.

Offering a quick 25mm offset, seamless swaged legs that provide more strength than welded or fused caps - especially if pegs are installed. Because the end of the fork legs are formed, not capped and welded there is nothing to fracture.

A longer 166mm CNC machined steerer tube features increased wall thickness wherever possible and a 24mm x 1.5 compression cap with integrated race.

    Allmost Excellent

The forks have a really nice feeling offset and the tapered fork legs give a nice sleek design. They are not as light as odyssey or total forks by about 100-130g but that extra weight is for way stronger dropouts and welds. Tons of pros, I can only think of one con and that's that the tread inside the fork where the top cap screws into dose not start for allmost a full inch making the taller hight of the fork kinda useless as if you wanted to put a headset with a tall dust cover on like a total killabee headset for example the top cap would not reach the threads. I am currently useing a normal small headset dust cover and a gyro top plate that's about 3-5mm think with no spacers and I was only able to get about 3 rotations of the thread. Other than the thread that can easily be fixed with a 55mm topcap insted of 32mm one they are good forks.
