Although Reed Stark has aspirations to eventually make his signature BSD pedal from recycled materials, for now he has settled for making the strongest pedal possible. A stronger pedal keeps riders using them longer and ultimately creates less plastic waste. Part of the Safari pedals longevity comes from the additional corner pins. The extra pins and overall thoughtful design mean this BSD pedal will take a lickin’ and keep on gripin’

Reed Stark's signature BSD Safari Pedal was designed to prevent the corner pins breaking off after the bike falls to the ground. Tweaking the placement and adding additional pins to alleviate that happening.
Built from tough nylon fibreglass with heat-treated 4130 cromo axles for reliability and strength with a true dual concave design. Designed with extra pins in high wear areas to ensure the pedal stays grippy after withstanding severe abuse.
