It's a brake pad.....not much to mess up! Super grabby as to be expected with a clear pad. Look and perform great as I've come to expect from Eclat parts.
I bought the BLACK Eclat Force female pads to try on my 29" GT with black rims. It took a few minutes to rearrange the order of and adjust the concave washers so that the pads would work with the rear Bombshell V brake. The angle of the pads is almost perfect despite the reconfiguration of washers and the bite is beyond aggressive. These are the best pads I've ever owned. Highly recommended! The clear pads would most likely be softer and even stickier but also potentially noisy. The black pads are sticky enough for me because they lock the wheel instantaneously.
Ok I only run a rear (odyssey springfield) & used to use slim by fours, they are really good, I dont mind the screech even, but the mounting bolt is prominent enough that i would whack an ankle on them now & again. The Eclat force Female fit a lot neater, brake just as well if not better for me & next to no screech, win, Win, WIN (using clear on black painted rims)
These brake pads really bites into the rim and locks the wheel instantly, just the way I like it. They made my bad brakes feel like disc brakes!
