Usually ride a WTP Battleship Magnum and I absolutely love the way it feels but I like to be able to run brakes sometimes, so I've been looking for a 21" with a high standover, short CS, higher BB, more aggressive HT as well as brake mounts & gyro tabs and finally settled on the Raekes. The 9.5" standover is just within my acceptable range, though I prefer 10" ST like my Magnum but couldn't find anything with similar geometry & brake mounts. I didn't want to miss a chance to get something close since Fiend won't be making these again. After riding it a few times and dialing it in, it does feel pretty similar to my Magnum, which is what I hoped for. Oddly enough, my seemingly crappy brakes somehow instantly worked way better than they did on the cheap Colony frame on my old park setup and I'm guessing it has something to do with the CS geometry and brake mount placement, which was a weird but pleasant surprise. Maybe quality does make a difference.
