Refund policy

HOW TO RETURN SOMETHING TO US:

  1. Return the item via the post or a courier of your choice with our completed returns formIf you would like us to arrange a courier collection of a bulky item, such as a bike, please Contact Us and we will provide a quote for you.
  2. Please obtain proof of postage or tracking number as we are not liable for loss or damage to goods returned. It is essential that you package the product well so that it arrives in an ‘As New’ condition, or else we reserve the right to reject your return or charge a few for the reduction in value.
  3. If you have assembled, fitted, tried or ridden the bike or part, it can no longer be returned. If you damage the product during installation, such as threading a pedal or crank, we cannot accept a return. Please see our Installation videos or get a professional mechanic to install if you are in doubt.
  4. If a refund is required, we will only refund the value of the goods, and not the cost we billed you for fast shipping. If returning an entire order, Free gifts (other than sticker sheets) should also be returned or we will deduct the cost from your refund.
  5. Custom-built wheels, custom bikes and free gifts cannot be returned unless faulty.
  6. We will process your return as soon as possible – normally within 5 working days. Refunds are made to your original payment method the same day but it can take up to five days to reach your account - this is dependent on your bank.

IMPORTANT: Items returned for exchange or refund MUST be returned unused in new saleable condition with all manufacturers' packaging returned. Please package your returns carefully as we will not accept returns that show signs of use or that are damaged. Returned products that cannot be re-sold by us as NEW will be subject to a fee to cover loss in value, or could be rejected altogether and returned to you at your expense.

RETURNING FAULTY ITEMS

If you believe your item to be faulty please Contact Us using our contact form prior to returning your item. If your product is faulty, we will refund the cost of returning the item to us (up to a maximum of €5 for smaller items and €10.00 for larger items). If your item is a bulky item (for example a complete bike) please contact us first and we can arrange a collection for you. Full terms and conditions are available on our website.

WARRANTY

All items sold by Sourcebmx are covered by the relevant manufacturer’s warranties. These vary from brand to brand and product to product and are dealt with on a case by case basis. To make a warranty enquiry please Contact Us.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at sales@sourcebmx.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address:  The Source BMX Ltd, Maunsell Road, St Leaonards-on-Sea, TN38 9NN, United Kingdom 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
